TIGERS HEADING FOR ANOTHER  SHOWDOWN

The #3 Breaux Bridge Tigers will travel friday to Monroe to take on the Neville Tigers for the 4th round , "Its great to play a team like Breaux Bridge who has alot of tradition", said Neville offensive coach Brett Lamone.  This will be the second time the two teams have met in the past 5 years. Two years ago Neville beat a young Breaux Bridge Team in the first round by the score of 33-20. BB was the first team to put up 20 pts on neville that year.

Breaux Bridge Beats Da'Ville In Double OT 28-20!!!

                        It was 4th and goal from the 6 yard line for BB. Things didn't look good for BB. SMSH led 20-14. QB John Williams took the snap ran about 10 yards back and was swarmed by a host of purple jerseys but only thing was they never caught him. Williams, or superman as ESPN 1420 put it, worked some of his magic and found WR Drapper Domeuchet in the back of the enzone. Hollywood couldn't have wrote it better, "I just had a felling in my stomach that i didn't want the season to end for our seniors they worked so hard", Williams said.

                      It didn't end there though BB would miss the field goal and force the 2 OT. The Tigers took control by scoring 8 pts and shutting down the SMSH offense on 4th down to make it out of St. Martinville with the 28-20 victory. The Tigers will either face neville or istrouma.
