TIGERS FALL TO RAMS 41-12 IN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

             It didnt take long for Bastrop to show why they where #1 all year long. On the Opening kick off Bastrop ran it back to go up and stay up on the Tigers all night and to clinch the 2005 4A State Title.The Tigers walked off with their heads held high being the first Breaux Bridge Team to ever make it to State.

             I congradulate our seniors who stepped up and showed leadership. From week 1 at LHS to week 14 against Bastrop you played your best. To the people of Breaux Bridge you are all Champions and forever will be.  Congrats to the whole 2005 football team.
